Many works shown on this site are currently available for purchase direct from the artist.  Some are available for sale through private galleries (and if sold there, may remain in the “for sale” section of this site until we are notified of their sale).

Commissions can also be taken, and some previously sold works are on the site as examples.  Reproductions of previous works, while of at least equal quality, will be approximate.  If you would like something special, please get in touch.

About Payments:  Ivor accepts Cheques, Bank Transfers, or Postal Orders.  In all cases, please contact Ivor to confirm availability and price, giving the picture title and reference number.  (Email info@im-hebrideanart.co.uk or see the Contact page.)

(International Bank Transfers:  Please note that additional charges or minimum sums may be required by some banks.  We recommend contacting your bank in advance for orders less than about £100.)

About Viewing:  Many of the paintings currently available for sale can be seen at various locations around Lewis and Harris.  If you would like to view a particular work, please get in touch.  It may be possible to arrange a private viewing if it is not on public display.

About Frames and Mounting:  Most pictures have been framed for display, but they can be purchased unframed if you prefer.  Many pictures are mounted with heavy board prior to framing; the size of this is noted.

Frame Colours:  Just for clarity, “silver” and “gold” frames are typically made of wood, painted these colours, not made of precious metal (unless otherwise stated).  The exact colour varies from frame to frame.

Copyright in the images is retained by the artist.  No image on this website may be reproduced by any means except with prior permission of the artist.
Ownership of the works represented here will be retained until payment is received in full.
All works sent through the post are insured, but works can be collected at the purchaser’s own risk.
In the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with the work, refunds will only be given when the work is returned, subject to its being in original condition, clean and undamaged.  Cost of initial postage and any additional bank charges will not be refunded, and no responsibility for cost of return will be accepted.
