On the road to Ard-na-Cille on the Island of Scalpay in Harris this breathtaking view awaits. Looking down to Effieʼs house, East Loch Tarbert awaited my gaze. It was a still Summerʼs day with barely a ripple in the sea loch. A Scalpay fishing boat trawls in the distance. The wild flowers of Summer are many. A composition just waiting to be painted.
