This Summer scene depicts Garry, Tolsta, on the path to the magnificent Tràigh Mhòr beach which sretches for around a mile. These beautiful miniature thistles were growing in an abundant display of purple, blowing in the gentle evening breeze. I love the wild flora and fauna to be found in the Hebrides during the Summer months. The machair land is a sea of amazing colourful wildflowers in July, unique to these Islands.
